We have a single address for every question, correction, and suggestion. We do not use a contact form; writing directly by email is the fastest route for you and for us.
Our email address
This address belongs to the operator of istatistiksel.com and covers every topic on the site. There is no separate support line, live chat or contact form; that way we can follow every incoming message in the same place. If you add a short note to the subject line about what you are writing about (for example “data error”, “tool suggestion”, “partnership”), your message reaches the right queue faster.
I want to report a data error
Data error reports are the most valuable kind of message we receive. If you think a number is wrong, out of date or missing, it is enough to add these four pieces of information to your email so that we can verify the correction:
- Page address: The full link of the page where you saw the error. You can copy and paste it from your browser’s address bar.
- Incorrect value: The number, label or period currently shown on the page. If you also write where it sits in the table or chart, we will not have to search for it.
- Correct value: The number you think it should be, and the period it belongs to, if there is one.
- Official source link: A link to the institutional or official source where the correct value was published. We cannot make a correction without this link, because we have to base every change on a verifiable source.
If your report is verified, we update the value and refresh the update date on the relevant page. If we cannot verify it, we will write to you explaining why we did not change it. The list of institutions we use is on the Data Sources page (in Turkish).
Partnership and advertising requests
For advertising space, sponsored content, corporate data partnerships and similar commercial matters, we suggest first taking a look at the Advertising and Partnerships page (in Turkish). There we explain how we work and which kinds of content we do and do not accept. After reading the page you can send your request to the same email address; writing the name of the organisation and the scope of the request shortens the process.
Suggesting a new tool or dataset
If you could not find a calculator you were looking for, or there is a data series you would like us to add, write to us. When we evaluate a suggestion we look at three things: how many people the topic concerns, whether a reliable source exists, and whether the result can be computed in the browser. When sending a suggestion, it is enough to explain in a sentence or two what the tool would be good for and to share the formula or source you use, if you have one. A significant share of the tools we have published grew out of requests that arrived this way.
Response time
We read messages with a small team, so replies usually arrive within a few working days. In busy periods this can stretch to close to a week. If you have reported an urgent correction, you can check the page again before waiting for a reply: we publish some corrections before writing back. There is no need to write a second time about the same matter; all messages are queued.
