Privacy Policy
This policy explains in plain language which data is processed when you use istatistiksel.com. The short summary is this: we do not open accounts, we do not take your files, and we do not try to identify you.
No membership or account system
There is no way to register, sign in or create a profile on the site. We do not ask for your name, your email address, your phone number or any other identifying information; consequently we keep no such record either. Contact details reach us only when you choose to send us an email yourself, and that information is used solely to answer that correspondence — it is not used for marketing purposes and not sold to third parties.
The files you upload are not sent to a server
This is the most important clause of the policy. The CSV, Excel and text data you upload or paste into the Data Analysis and Chart tools (both pages in Turkish) is processed entirely inside your browser. Reading the file, parsing the numbers, computing the statistics and drawing the charts all happen on your own device. This content is not sent to any server, not stored anywhere and not shared with any third party.
The practical consequence is this: once you close or reload the page, no trace of your data remains. For the same reason it is not possible for us to bring an analysis back later either; if you want to keep the results, you need to use the export options on the page. And for the same reason you can comfortably work with files that contain sensitive or personal data.
Server access logs
Like every website, our infrastructure also keeps technical access records (logs). These records typically contain the address requested, the date and time, the HTTP status code, browser and operating system information, and the IP address. We keep these records only for security, debugging and abuse prevention, and only for a limited period. We do not use access logs for ad targeting or for building personal profiles.
Our approach to analytics
We do want to keep visit statistics so that we can see which pages are useful; but we prefer to do it with the least data possible. Analytics runs only if you have given explicit consent, and the information collected is anonymous: aggregate figures such as page views, referring site and device type are reviewed, and no matching is performed to identify an individual user. When you do not give consent, the analytics scripts are never loaded and every feature of the site keeps working in exactly the same way.
Third-party advertising providers
The site shows ads so that it can stay free. Ads are served through Google AdSense. Google may place its own cookies and may process some technical information coming from your browser (such as IP address, browser and device information) within the framework of its own policies. This data is not passed on to us; we cannot see who the ads are shown to.
Ad personalization is subject to consent and is off by default: if you do not give consent, ads are shown according to the content of the page only, without following you. Your rights
Everyone whose personal data is processed has the right to learn whether their data is being processed; to request information about it if it is; to learn whether it is being used in line with its purpose; to ask for it to be corrected if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly; to request that it be erased or destroyed; and to object if they consider the processing unlawful. Because we have no account system, we usually hold no record belonging to you; even so, when you send your request to iletisim@istatistiksel.com we examine the situation and respond. Changes to the policy
We may update this policy when we add a new feature or when the way we work changes. The current version is always published on this page and the date at the bottom of the page is refreshed. When we make a change that materially alters its scope, we also announce the change separately on the site.
